Welcome

Pur autre vie is a legal term meaning "for the life of another." It doesn't really have anything to do with this blog, except that I'm in law school and I think it sounds pretty. I've had other blogs before, and I'll include links to them, but this one will be different. Hopefully. If all goes well, I'll capture some of the flavor of living and studying in Hyde Park, a neighborhood that is both easy to love and easy to mock. I may also ramble on about the law a bit, that's a hazard all of my friends have to face.
